Phuket Trip - Day 3: Best Brunch -> Pad Thai

Unlike the second day, we were allowed to wake up a little bit late since the bus picked us up at 11 o'clock. After a fun night, up to 3 o'clock, I woke up at around 10 o'clock and surprised to see Pdik and Juan swam at the swimming pool just below our room :D. Since everybody were hungry, we get ourselves ready and go to the hotel lobby. Our first destination was to get something to eat. Today, we have a better car than the first day. Mr Yong was our driver. He picked us up at 11 o'clock sharp with his girlfriend, Som.

We hurried go inside the car and requested to find something to eat. I decided to eat Pad Thai, according to Jamie's blog there is a best Pad Thai restaurant around Karon area. I try to show Yong the place, however, he misunderstood and take us to the other Pad Thai restaurant (more like hawker center). Since we were all hungry, we decided to just eat at the place. It was located at around 5 minutes away from our hotel (Don't worry, I'll give you more info about the location of places that we visited in a special blog entry, meanwhile, just be patient :D).

The place was not crowded, we went directly to the auntie who sell Pad Thai and Ordered some Pad Thai with Thai Ice Tea. We also ordered a stewed pork and mushroom. Ci El decided not to order the Pad Thai and ordered beef coconut milk soup. With our hungry stomach, we patiently wait while observing the auntie who made all the order by herself!!! (6 Pad Thais, 7 Thai Ice Tea and 1 stewed pork and mushroom less than 10 minutes)

We also ordered Tom Yum soup and Green Curry Chicken at the stall next to the Pad Thai Stall. When everything were on the table, without any hesitation, we finished them up. The Pad Thai was really great!!! I never found something like this in Indonesia (well.....Pad Thai is from Thailand -_-"). What shocked us more is the price of those dishes. Each Pad Thai cost 40 Baht, a Thai Ice Tea cost 10 Baht, the stewed pork and mushroom, Tom Yum, Green Curry and Beef in coconut milk cost around 200 Baht each. 7 of us was really full, yet we pay around 1200!!!!! Which means around 170 Baht or  Rp 51000 or 6 USD per person. What a great deal. I promised myself to eat here on my next visit. Everybody were shocked with the quality of food we got in such an affordable price. Thanks to Yong for recommended this place to us :D
